Marie, ON P6C3W4, CANJob DetailsDescriptionAs we continue to respond to increased customer demands and requirements, we are hiring a Preventative Maintenance Level 1 Technician at our Sault Ste. Marie location. Our busy, team-oriented shops place a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available, as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff. Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships.Job DescriptionMajority of duties will be cleaning, washing and inspection of our rental construction equipment;Complete quality assurance inspections on equipment; Ensuring all equipment is in clean working condition with all appropriate components.Testing and operation of construction equipment, including, but not limited to, assessment of damages;Perform preventative maintenance on construction equipment, including, but not limited to, maintaining and servicing rental equipment, oil and filter changes;Complete required documentation and data entry;Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area, shop and branch;Load and unload customer rental equipment when required;Maintain a safe working environment;Assisting other technicians as needed;Follow all Health and Safety policies, while maintaining a safe work environment;Other duties as assigned. Key QualificationsForklift operation experienceKnowledge of construction equipment and mechanics;Ability to use various computer devices (Scanners, laptops etc.)Technical aptitude and organization skills are preferred.
