Job Description

Partner Staffing is currently working to find a number of talented Intermediate Electrical Designers on a contract basis.Our Client is a recognized O amp;G company with numerous projects ongoing. This will include both new, renovation, and maintenance projects. In this role, you will do design work including sizing calculations, lighting layouts, cables and scheduling, and control layouts.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be an exceptional individual and possess the following qualifications.

  • 5-10 years’ experience with Experience as a designer including lead experience
  • Thorough understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code, API Standards
  • Extensive experience with MicroStation and Smart Plant Electrical
  • Experience with PDS 3D a requirement
  • Ability to do Cable tray fill calculations voltage drop calculations, lighting calculations,
  • Extensive experience with EHT isometrics, motor and VFD Schematics, JB wiring, and SLDs
  • Capacity to evaluate and check the drawings of others.
  • Skill to get information from P amp;IDs, LDTs and Vendor drawings.
  • A track record of innovation and the ability to solve problems
  • Experience working in large diverse teams that will include other disciplines.
  • Additionally, you will have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to match your technical skill sets
