Partner Staffing Calgary is hiring for a new commercial/industrial/utilities project manager in their PDS group. You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering construction projects on behalf of clients. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure successful project completion with scope, budget and timeline. This PM will be working primarily in the emphasis of commercial, utilities, transportation and industrial projects. DescriptionIn this role you will lead and manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget.Projects may range from mid-sized to large. You will be responsible for the Project Scheduling and Cost Estimates/ManagementYou will communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide project status updates and address concerns.You will head up project and site meetings and perform field reviews.You will be responsible to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.Provide leadership in development of new opportunities and proposals.RequirementsRequirements

  • 5+ years of direct Canadian experience within a consulting environment in Commercial Construction
  • Experience within Transportation, Utility, or Energy type of projects.
  • Extended exposure to construction regulations and codes in Western Canada
  • Bachelors in Engineering or Construction management with P.Eng or CET as an asset
  • PMP and PMI considered an asset
  • Cost Management, and Budgeting/Estimating skills with experience in design management and proposal writing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and collaboration abilities
