Job Description

Partner Staffing is currently seeking a Budget Analyst on a contract basis for a leading client in the energy industry. Our client offers significant opportunities for long-term growth for the right individual. This contract position enables you to work directly with the senior management as well as a broad organizational group.You will be involved in developing both long-term and short-term plans, budgets, and forecasts.With your presentation skills, you will present forecasting and reporting. Responsibilities:

  • As a team member, assist in the development of monthly and quarterly budgets ultimately leading to development of long term plans.
  • Participate in the presentation of plans and reports to senior management by preparing all the materials.
  • Assist in the analysis of variance in financial results and forecasts.
  • Recommend and assist in the development of business initiatives valuations and models to align with regulatory, business and accounting changes.
  • Use systems to maintain cost center hierarchies, organize business units, perform allocations in SAP
Requirements
  • 5+ Years Experience with Financial Modelling and budgets
  • University educated with CPA, CFA
  • Strong analytical and consolidation, reporting, and modelling skills
  • Strong ability to develop the big picture and concurrently be detail-oriented.
  • High-level experience with SAP, Oracle Hyperion, WDesk and PCS, MS BI
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP
  • Strong team player with above-average presentation skills
  • Extremely focused individual who can work in a busy environment.
