Job Description

Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Municipal Mechanical Lead Process Engineer responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of mechanical and process engineering solutions for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role involves overseeing engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring they meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage mechanical and process engineering projects for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities including Lift Stations, Pump Stations, Treatment Plants.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and review mechanical and process engineering designs, including system layouts, piping diagrams, equipment specifications, and process flow diagrams.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.
  • Lead design reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of engineering excellence.
  • Conduct design and process audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical inquiries and providing project updates.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for permits and approvals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer registered with APEGA, P.Eng required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical and process engineering, with a focus on municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Proven experience in project management and leading engineering teams.
