Job Description

Responsibilities would include creating detailed structural designs and drawings for various oil and gas facilities, including platforms, pipelines, processing plants, and other related infrastructure.RequirementsKey Accountabilities:

  • Initiate, complete and check structural/architectural engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with PDS 3D Modeling (Frameworks), Microstation, Smart Plant Review, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Develop structural/architectural models and drawings from conceptual to detailed design using Microstation.
  • Develop 3D structural models using PDS Frameworks.
  • Experience in design drafting of piperacks, stair towers, equipment modules, pump houses, compressor houses, piling and foundations.
  • Experience with production of piling layouts and schedules, structural steel layouts and details, concrete layouts and details and architectural layouts and details.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines and vendor information during the design process.
  • Ability to interpret information from vendor drawings, P amp;IDs, isometrics, existing steel and foundation drawings etc.
  • Producing drawings with minimum technical guidance
Skillsamp; Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma in structural design.
  • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of industry design standards and codes.
  • Strong organizational skills, technical competence and attention to detail.
  • Proven problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and piping.
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-discipline environment.
  • Being able to meet safety requirements to attend site visits
