Job Description

****Oxford Learning Sherwood Park is looking for an upbeat, dynamic part-time math/science tutor.**We focus on cognitive personal development and look for individuals who will honor Oxford Learning teaching methods and philosophy in a fun environment. Successful candidates will receive training in our innovative Interactive Coaching Methods that assist students to learn and study more effectively. Candidates must possess an academic background in Education.General Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask, be flexible, and think on your feet
  • Passionate and empathetic with students
  • Dynamic, energetic, and inspiring personality
  • Punctual and Reliable
  • Must have flexible availability (students are scheduled weekday evenings)
Specific Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however enthusiastic undergraduate students may apply
  • Experience teaching / tutoring math & science is preferred
  • Familiarity with Grade 8-12 math & science or English and social curriculum is beneficial
