RE/MAX Elite is currently looking to fill the role of Accounting Assistant. In turn, our agents are diversely rich in knowledge and experience, and most importantly...really GREAT people.POSITION SUMMARYYou will be a key member of the RE/MAX Elite Support team responsible for maintaining daily agent commission payouts. The payouts specialist will assist with accounts payables, deposits, commission advances and a range of administrative support. As the right candidate, you will have excellent attention to detail, time management and interpersonal skills. This is an extremely fast paced environment and candidate must be extremely organized and able to manage their time efficiently.Key responsibilities essential to this position include: · Process daily agent and outside brokerage commission payouts· Review the file requirements to make certain the transaction is complete prior to proceeding with paying and closing the transaction· Request missing paperwork/file requirements from agents· Receipt commission cheques into Broker Wolf, makes all deposits after checking to make certain amounts match invoice.· Deposit all commission cheques into bank.· Follow up on commission cheques that have not arrived after 10· Pay outside Brokerages, Create EFT’s for agents· Accurate, timely closing all transactions.· Collects Agent Receivables off each commission cheque· Charges fee for garnishments, service & late fees· Enters closing information into Lone Wolf· Prepares deal closing for payment and sends final TRS and EFT with each pay cheque to the agent.· Updates Skyslope and moves transaction to Archive· Contacts Agents re: missing paperwork· Ensure accuracy of financial information through accurate data entry, processing of invoices, accounts payables, commission payments and deposits· Manage accounts payables and data entry into Lone Wolf system· Review invoices and code to appropriate expense account· Process and Monitor advance payment requests· Ensure compliance of all accounting and financial code/regulatory requirements· Work closely with and serve as the main support for the Administration Manager and Manager of Operations.· Assist Conveyancing when required including condition removals, follow up with deposits, follow up with lawyers, write up new deals, etc· Perform data entry and other administrative duties as assigned· Ad hoc reporting and special projects as requiredQUALIFICATIONS· The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Accounting or Business Administration; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered· 3+ years administrative support experience in a similar role- preferably in Real Estate· Experience in Accounts Payables and accounting support· Experience with Lone Wolf and Skyslope is an asset· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Organizational, technical, time management skills, flexibility and attention to detail are required· Positive attitude and excellent ability to work independently and within a teamThis is a great opportunity for an individual looking for a challenging, fast-paced and collaborative team work environment.We thank all candidates for their interest however only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $50,000.00-$56,000.00 per yearBenefits:
