Check out our company page for all the information on why we believe First Canadian is an employer of choice!If you are motivated to succeed by helping people, then this is the opportunity for you!Under the direction of the Marketing Administration Manager, The Bilingual Digital Marketing Coordinator works collaboratively to develop and manage internal and external online communication strategies for all First Canadian divisions. This position is responsible for organizational social media platforms, online presence, and assists in branding communications on our web platforms.Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and management of communication to build First Canadian’s brand awareness and on-line presence such as web content and social media.
  • Work with key managers to develop social media strategies and source relevant content.
  • Write and edit content for internal and external websites.
  • Manage platforms such as Intranet, Google, LinkedIn, and any other company branded and online environments.
  • Responsible for reviews and responses on digital platforms including daily creating, posting, responding, moderating, and engaging to ensure a positive brand.
  • Collect, analyze, report and make recommendations on social media data to maximize visibility of brand and drive engagement.
  • Assist managers in creating, updating and executing online brand standards for all First Canadian divisions.
  • Stay up to date and actively assesses current trends, platforms, and dashboards to support First Canadian’s organizational strategy and social media presence.
  • Manage digital retailing content made available to third parties.
  • Support web development, graphics design, sales, and marketing initiatives as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing and other regulations.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Communications, Marketing or similar discipline is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience in managing social media communications and marketing.
  • 1-2 years experience in graphic design.
  • 1-2 years SharePoint experience.
  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
  • Thorough knowledge of the top social media networks (ex. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
  • Experience with photography an asset.
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language and grammar conventions. Proven skills in verbal and written communication.

  • Skilled copywriter with the ability to capture and mimic unique brand voices.
  • Branding experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and maintain a fast-paced workflow.
  • Highly independent; thrives on taking initiative and problem solving.
  • Very adaptable; able to quickly learn new technologies and tools with minimal supervision.
