Job Description

We are in the process of replacing their ERP and redesigning all our internal business process to be more efficient and effective company wide. This is a golden opportunity to join our team on this exciting Digital Transformation journey. The Manager of ERP is responsible for the management, integration, and support of our core business systems and Vendor Management. This position will lead a team of functional and technical resources and Application Management Service providers, which together design and deliver projects and enhancements, monitor critical ERP operational activities, and provide support for our core business systems.You will bring a Post-secondary education in IT-related field.. You will also bring 7+ years in ERP management.This is a permanent, salaried position. The role can be based in Sherwood Park or Calgary, AB based on candidate preference.What you’ll be doing:

  • Overall responsibility for the operations of our core business systems (ERP) operations, development, and maintenance.
  • Define, develop, clearly and effectively communicate, implement, and maintain and champion IT Master Data Management (MDM) program at the enterprise level.
  • Manage and guide the ERP team in the design and customization process across multiple software platforms, ensuring data accuracy, real-time dashboards and KPI’s which enable the business units to better manage their own objectives.
  • Effectively provide consultation and engage key stakeholders as sponsor, champion, and driver of technology initiatives to meet business needs.
  • Orchestrate the ERP system administration and/ coordinate with potential managed service provider for execution of incident resolution and service request management.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during systems upgrades, installations, and data conversions or maintenance.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing approaches to change management and strategies for communication to ensure successful change implementations tied to business results.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and address concerns.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
  • Strong understanding of technical management and information analysis of IT systems.
  • Technical knowledge of ERP Applications.
  • Exposure to complete software development lifecycle.
  • Strong technical knowledge of emerging IT/IS trends and technologies.
  • Knowledge of structured methodologies for the identification of user requirements and the development of specifications.
  • Strong experience in managing ERP, Database (Oracle), and Reports (Preferred IFS, UKG).
  • Experience implementing and managing ERP systems with functional expertise in Financial Management, Project Accounting, Supply Chain, HR and Manufacturing.
  • Good time-management skills, ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills to convey ideas, information, and materials to individuals and groups.
