BGC Strathcona County is a provisional member of BGC Canada.BGC Canada is one of this countrys leading national, youth-serving organizations dedicated to providing high-quality services that promote the healthy growth and development of young Canadians and their families.We are founded on a strong belief in the positive potential of every child.BGC Strathcona County has served the County community since 2001, enriching the lives of over 1500 children and youth annually through after-school, spring break and summer camp programs that offer fun, challenging experiences and activities focused on healthy living, personal growth, learning and community involvement.Our new CanTeen Youth Hub is seeking Full Time Youth Program Staff that will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day supervision and facilitation of all the Raising the Grade Program for BGC Strathcona County. The Raising the Grade program lead will represent BGC and will do their utmost to develop and maintain a positive relationship with any staff, school partners, parents, community partners, and community members associated with the organization in any capacity.- Develop and facilitate the Raising the Grade program within BGC and its core values. Ensure program is age appropriate (Ages 13-21). All activities must meet the physical, intellectual, spiritual, and emotional needs of participants that attend each program.- Contribute to program research and design, implement program directives as assigned by BGC Canada.- Participate in BGC Canada led training on program deliverables.- Participate in raising the grade program evaluation, implementation, and training.- Ensure programs provided meet requirements of grant applications and/or of funding organizations. maintain information required for reporting including statistical and financial information and prepare reports as required.- Participate in monthly BGC Canada monthly check ins.- Provide reports on numbers of participants in the program, and ongoing reporting to BGC Canada.- Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to answering emails within a timely manner, incident report reviews and filing. Ensure as needed the creation of monthly calendars, newsletters, program plans, board reports and acquiring and preparing supplies as needed.- Provide financial reports as required.- Track all program activities and data such as gender, age, BIPOC representation, spoken language, persons with disabilities, low income.- Or duties as required.Hours are 35 hours/week Monday-FridayJob Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 10 monthsSalary: $18.00 per hourSchedule:
