Bi-Weekly Hours: 30 hours bi-weekly / Days, Evenings, Nights / 7.5 and 11.25 hr. shifts / Rotating Weekends(Commencing Immediately until June 23, 2022)The Resident Care Worker is the personal care provider for residents within the Long Term Care setting. Under supervision of a registered nurse, the primary responsibility is to deliver person-centered care in a professional, high quality, holistic manner that considers the residents physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: - Successful completion of a recognized Resident Care Worker training program or equivalent.- Demonstrated ability to show patience, sensitivity and creativity.- Good communication and judgement skills.- Able to work under supervision as well as independently and part of a team.- Capable of sustained physical activity.- Have a good previous work and attendance record.- The successful applicant must provide a satisfactory criminal records check prior to beginning employment.- Additional relevant education and experience will be considered an asset.Please Note: Successful applicants are expected to complete the term of temporary assignment unless appointed to a permanent position.
