The following temporary position is open to applicants:TECHNOLOGY SERVICE TECHNICIAN CUPE Competition No. 5093Location: DistrictTemporary June 21, 2021 to September 15, 2021Hours: 8.0 hours per day, 12 months per yearRate of Pay: $30.28/hrDuties & Responsibilities:Under the direction of the ICT Manager, provides technical support services at all sites in the School District. This includes - diagnosing and resolving computer related hardware and software incidents and service requests in person, by telephone or remote access, providing end-user assistance and training when required as well as assisting on IT projects as assigned - in accordance to District standards and guidelines.Required Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 plus post-secondary training in a computer related field of at least 2 years and a minimum of 3 years recent related professional experience is preferred which includes Local and Wide Area Networking and Personal Computer hardware and software maintenance.Customer Service oriented with very good written and verbal communication skills.Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
