Job Description

CareCorp Senior Services is a trusted company who provides superior healthcare, food and support services to long-term care and assisted living facilities across BC.We are looking for a housekeeper to join our amazing team in one of our beautiful care facilities, Shannon Falls. Previous experience working with the senior community is preferredbut not required.Facility address: 38225 3 Ave, Squamish, BC V8B 0S2Position details: Permanent Part Time; Friday + Saturday (0800-1600)Compensation: Starting at $19.39 per hourResponsibilities

  • Cleans areas such as floors, stairways, walls, windows and walkways, carpets and rugs.
  • Cleans items such as furniture, woodwork, ledges, fixtures and blinds/ curtains.
  • Cleans and sanitizes washrooms and replenishes items such as soap and towels.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and washrooms.
  • Prepares cleaning solutions and utilizes cleaning supplies in accordance with established procedures.
  • Empties and cleans waste containers and removes garbage from building.
  • Helps remove furniture from rooms and puts in storage area.
  • Preforms other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have
  • Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • WHMIS Certificate.
  • Cultural education and experience are preferred
