Effective: Immediately Hours: 7.0 hours per day, for all days school is in session Rate of Pay: $28.32 /hour (Student Specific 1) Duties & Responsibilities:Under the direction of the Principal(s) and the general supervision of the Classroom Teacher(s), provides assistance to students who have physical disabilities, chronic health impairments, intellectual disabilities and/or social, emotional and behavioural problems as designated by the Director of Instruction, while supporting the achievement of stated programs goals and objectives. Qualifications:Completion of Grade 12 plus a special program and over six (6) months up to and including one (1) year’s related experience. A special program would be the Capilano University Education Assistant Program. Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver’s License. Knowledge of basic First Aid.
