Apply today to join our team!As an Activity Coordinator at Vancouver Coastal Health you will:

  • Report to the Manager, Home & Community Care or delegate, assist the Occupational Therapist and Clinical Services Coordinator to coordinate, organize and implement the Hilltop House Activity Programs targeted to the Hilltop residents and community participants.
  • Provide work direction to program assistants and volunteers in carrying out the program.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience
  • Graduation from a recognized recreational program plus one (1) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid BC Drivers License.
Knowledge & Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to teach.
  • Ability to supervise.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
