Job Description

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

  • Full-time, long-term.
  • Typical schedule of Monday to Friday (10am to 6pm); the occasional evening and weekend shift will be required.
  • Scheduling flexibility to encourage work/life balance.
  • Blend of in office, home-based (clients homes), clinic space available, and remote work at times.
  • Wage starting in the range of $55 per hour depending on certification and experience.

The Perfect Candidate:
  • A Master’s degree (or enrolled and working towards a Master’s degree in psychology, education, behaviour analysis or related field.
  • BCBA/BCaBA certification and enrollment on the registry of Autism Service Providers is strongly preferred.
  • Previous behavioural consultation or counselling experience.
  • Experience providing supporting children and youth with additional needs.
  • The ability to conduct functional assessment (indirect, direct and experimental) and develop function-based interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong leadership abilities and able to manage a team to grow and develop skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, CRM systems.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide initial and ongoing assessments of the client’s behavior, needs, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and document therapeutic intervention plans for children and youth directly related to assessment results and based on evidence based practice.
  • Provide training to families and caregivers in implementing these intervention.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of social skills groups.
  • Attend staff meetings and other training opportunities
  • Strong collaboration with other professionals, schools and community partners is required.
