Warm muffins (from our small prepared foods kitchen) and amazing people and products create the atmosphere in our community shop.*Your responsibilities will include receiving fresh produce, communicating with customers, operating the checkout, cleaning and opening or closing procedures. There is lots of walking and the occasional heavy lifting.**There will be many opportunities to learn about other essential aspects of the business such as making promotional signage, shelf displays, window displays, sampling, ordering, receiving and quality control.**We offer standard vacation pay and we are respectful of overtime rules. Normally, your total workday will not be longer than 8 hours and will include a 30 minute paid break. We also offer staff meals and employee discounts.
