  • Supervise and coordinate a team of 2-5 cashiers and kitchen staff.
  • Serve as main operator of the point of sales system and assist staff with issues related to the till.
  • Ensure the store is opened and closed in a safe and secure manner
  • Ensure all final food products meet Dairy Queen quality control standards.
  • Handle online paperwork relating to company deposits and bills.
  • Order ingredients for cake production; and make staff schedules.
  • Liaise and assist the owners with matters relating to general operations.
  • Handle customers complaints and try to resolve them on the spot.
  • Participate in all inspections by health department and Franchisor
  • Train the staff in duties
Requirements
  • Completion of secondary school.
  • Minimum experience of 7 months or more in food industry is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Point of Sale System (POS) is an asset
  • Programs related to hospitality management would be an asset.
