Job Description

Position: General LabourerProject Type: InfrastructureProject Location: WoodfibreShift: 10hr to 12hr daysSchedule: 5/2 Monday to FridayAccommodations: Local to SquamishTravel Details: Not ApplicableGC: GrahamAllied Partner: Jasper ConstructorsReference Number: 17309Position Summary:Possesses the ability to learn and accumulate the necessary knowledge to assist the construction industry.Perform basic work activities while supervised.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • General site cleanup and housekeeping
  • Set up fuelling equipment and refuel equipment.
  • Set up and take down of site laydown
  • Dewatering
  • Installation of project signage
  • Organize equipment and supplies.
  • Follow direction.
  • Prepare for each task.
  • Identify and report hazardous or unsafe areas.
Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in the construction industry
  • Able to lift 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, walk on uneven ground
  • Capable of learning through on the job training
