We sell top quality construction aggregates, sand, decorative rock and organic top soil throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor. As the Yard Attendant you will operate a wheel loader to load small vehicles, maintain the Landscape Depot Yard, garden & landscape, deliver materials and assist with product selection. You enjoy dealing with customers, helping out the rest of the team when needed, and working outside in all conditions.Responsibilities:

• Loading pickup trucks with a wheel loader
• Maintaining Landscape Depot yard
• Pressure washing, painting, general maintenance, snow clearing
• Maintain company Garden (Weeding, pruning)
• Delivery of landscape depot materials to residential customers
• Assisting customers with product selection
• Performing other relevant duties as required
• Assisting Shop with cleaning

Qualifications:

• Previous equipment operating experience an asset
• Previous Landscape & Gardening skills an asset
• Must have a class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Be able to work with a variety of tools to complete various tasks

Working Environment:

• Able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to climb ladders and stockpiles.
• Able to work in an industrial environment that may include dust, heat, loud noise.
