Steel River Energy Services has an exciting opportunity for Manufacturing Plant Members to join our team in Squamish, British Columbia.Key Job Duties:Operate production equipment.Mix, pour and place concrete.Install rebar, expansion joints, or carbon fibre.Repair concrete structures.Apply finishing coat.Maintain the plants machines.Detect potential problems with machinery.Identify and report on defective products or machinery.Various cleaning duties including cleaning up completed worksites.Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all staff, vendors, and customers.Follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.Able to handle and lift heavy objects.Other tasks and duties as assigned.Positions will include working in various areas of productionPre-assemblyEPS/CNC machineBatch plant, mixing productCastingFinishingShipping, Receiving, HandlingJob Requirements:Qualifications and Experience:1+ years of concrete or skilled labour experience preferred.Experience using power tools.Skills and Knowledge:Knowledge of standard construction equipment and material.General knowledge of production equipment.Hardworking and reliable.Excellent communication skills: written and verbal skills, listening skills, proven attention to detail.Organization, time-management and multi-tasking skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in a growing, dynamic and changing environment.Optimistic/collaborative approach and attitude towards work.Working Conditions & Benefits:General manufacturing environment.Full-time position.Entitled to the Company’s comprehensive employee benefits plan.Accommodations provided for the first 6 months.The typical work schedule is 4 days on 3 days off, 10-hour shifts.Why Steel River Energy ServicesSteel River Energy Services was founded on the principle of collaboration.
