Job Description

Diamondhead Door Company is looking for a a full time office assistant/receptionist to join our teamResponsibilities include:

  • Receiving emergency and non-emergency calls and recording significant information
  • Prioritizing calls according to urgency and importance
  • Entering customer information into the system and identifying priority issues
  • Addressing problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
  • Receiving and dispatching service requests
  • Scheduling appointments and communicating this information to customers and technicians
  • Providing follow up customer calls when necessary
  • Creating invoices for services rendered and following up on payments
  • Entering bills into QuickBooks
  • Speaking with our suppliers to understand product information for customers
  • Providing basic quotes for jobs and services to customers
  • Performing any other administrative tasks assigned by the office manager
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum one year experience in an administrative role.
  • Proven ability to perform assigned functions with diligence and attention to detail
  • A strong, service-oriented focus
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Experience working with google docs, Microsoft office and QuickBooks would be an asset
