Job Description

CLERICAL ASSISTANT ON-CALL/CASUALLocation: DISTRICT (Squamish/Whister/Pemberton)Effective: ImmediatelyRate of Pay:$26.02 to $29.01 per hourDuties &Responsibilities:Underthe direction of the School Principal(s), performs a variety of clerical andaccounting tasks, while ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of asecondary school office.Qualifications:

Completionof Grade 12 plus a special program and over two (2) years up to and includingthree (3) years related experience in a clerical capacity or the equivalentcombination and related training and experience. A special program is the Capilano UniversityBusiness Fundamentals Program.
Knowledgeof database management, spreadsheet and word processing programs plusfamiliarity with computerized attendance and/or scheduling programs.
ValidClass 5 BC Driver’s License.
Abilityto operate a variety of standard and/or related office equipment, followed by akeyboarding speed of 60 wpm.
