About the roleReporting to our Plant Director, the People, Culture & Community (PCC) Manager is responsible for all matters relating to Human Resources. The position is accountable for implementing and executing on PCC programs and initiatives, including a leading-edge talent management program. The incumbent acts as a change agent for the managers and how they lead others. The position will deliver superior coaching and influencing skills to managers at all levels in the facility, fostering positive working relationships with both managers and employees. This role will also focus on building a high-performance culture that emphasizes employee engagement, development, quality, safety, as well as compliance of plant programs in order to support effective plant development and operations enabling Nexii to reach its goals.What you’ll need:
  • A proven track record as a Human Resources professional in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to plan and implement HR programs, services, processes and procedures which align and integrate with the changing needs of the business units and functions supported
  • Experience building partnerships with Site Leaders within the assigned business units to understand operational goals and needs
  • Proven leadership attracting and retaining mavericks, and fostering an environment that motivates and develops a diverse team to fully use its capabilities in achieving desired results.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers to thoroughly understand recruitment requirements, including knowledge, skills and abilities required for reach role and team
  • Experience providing guidance to both managers and employees on employee-related issues, resolving in an effective and timely manner
  • Ability to partner with managers in the execution of annual performance management cycles, merit reviews, employee recognition programs
  • Experience tracking and addressing performance issues and resolving in a timely manner
  • Ability to provide guidance on discipline processes and procedures, as well as, supporting onboarding and offboarding
  • A background in all plant HR-related activities including health and safety, HRIS, team recruitment, onboarding and retention, policy, payroll, and benefits.
  • An ability to contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve the desired team results.
  • A demonstrated ability maintaining a healthy and safe working environment
Bonus points for:
  • 6+ years progressive generalist experience in HR, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with clients at all levels of the organization and influence decisions.
  • Collaborative team player with demonstrated professional and emotional maturity and judgment to handle sensitive situations with high ethical standards
  • Strong ability to effectively perform in a complex, high change environment while being a positive steward for the business
  • Solid business acumen to align both business objectives and HR strategies with business unit goals
