Job Title: Radiology Porter AideWork Site: General Radiology, Squamish Hospital - Squamish, BCStatus: Regular Part Time - 0.8 FTEStart Date: As soon as possibleSalary: $23.40 per hourHours:0900-1700/1100-1900Days off: Tuesday, Wednesday, and ThursdayReference#: 167160-jmaCome work as a Radiology Porter Aide with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Radiology Porter Aide to join the General Radiology team at Squamish Hospital, Squamish, BC. Apply today to join our team!As a Radiology Porter Aide working you will:

  • Act as a member of an integrated team within a high volume medical imaging environment by performing duties such as transporting clients to and from required areas using stretchers and wheelchairs.
  • Assist technical and nursing staff with the lifting and transferring of clients.
  • Maintain supplies for various carts, cupboards, trays, rooms and storage areas and cleaning equipment and supply areas as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience
  • Grade 12 and two year’s recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge & Abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
