The company has a focus on sustainability and community engagement and strives to continually innovate and grow.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Store Associate will work as an integral part of our New Deli Squamish Team to perform general operations and merchandising duties as required. This position will report to the Assistant Store Manager and work very closely with our Customer Experience Team. The primary goal of this role is to ensure fluid operations of the store while delivering an all-around excellent experience, as the face of New Deli. The Store Associate will be responsible for, but not limited to:· Performing all types of transactions with customers· Scanning goods and collecting payments using our POS system· Reconciling cash at the end of the day· Stocking shelves and bagging items carefully· Greeting customers when entering or leaving the establishment· Pleasantly dealing with customers to ensure their satisfaction· Resolving customer complaints, guiding them and providing relevant information· Maintaining clean and tidy checkout areas· Receiving products from Suppliers and scanning items into the systemQUALIFICATIONS· Previous retail or cashier experience preferred· Basic math skills· Ability to provide professional customer service· Ability to stay organized and set priorities· Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally· Must be reliable and punctual· Must be 19 years or olderADDITIONAL INFORMATION· 30-minute paid breaks· 15% in-store discountACCESSIBILITYPlantX is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
