DescriptionJob Summary:You are a Yard Worker who is responsible for the daily flow of material including accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory control. You are responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of a lay down yard. You make certain that the Yard is a safe and clean space, and you assist with stock management, and maintenance on equipment and fleet vehicles.Join our Technical Services team in Whistler, BC today!Essential Responsibilities:Verifies incoming and outgoing materialsAdministers inventory control and order selectionOversees opening and closing duties as needed in the YardSupports with the daily upkeep of the yard including organizing stock and yard maintenanceSupports shipping and receiving activitiesOperates forklifts and lifts heavy items (up to 40 lbs.)Drives to client yards to collect materialsBuilds and maintains relationships with field teamsAdministers inventory control and order selectionMonitors yard activities ensuring that proper processes are followedQualifications:1-2 years of Warehouse/Yard work experience, preferably in a high-volume environmentExperience in establishing relationships with various levels of an organizationProficiency with Excel, Outlook, MS TeamsAbility to work unsupervisedAbility to communicate effectively and independentlyForklift Operator Certification is requiredSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements and a Security Clearance Process1-2 years of industry experience, preferably in an outdoor/yard environmentValid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is requiredStrong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, paired with a positive attitudeWork Conditions:This role requires working primarily outdoors in various weather conditionsAdditional Information:Company DescriptionLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
