SSCS has a Temporary full-time position (35 hours per week) starting June 8, 2021 untilJune 30, 2022 for a Youth Resource Worker based in Squamish.As a Youth Resource Worker you will provide recreational opportunities and maintain asafe gathering place for youth. You will identify youth problems, needs and risks.Support youth in developing and implementing short-term, issue-specific interventionplans within program guidelines. Plan, conduct individual and/or group supportsessions using basic counselling techniques. Provide skill building in problem areas.Do you have what it takes1. A diploma in human services or a related field, or the equivalentcombination of education and experience.2. At least one (1) year previous work in a similar environment (YouthResource Centre).3. Previous direct program delivery experience in the community socialservices sector.4.
