The Information Technology Business Services Branch is looking for a passionate, innovative, and ambitious technical professional to join the Organizational Change Management team in a lead technology trainer capacity – focused on end user learning experiences.As a member of our corporate project delivery team, the Change Analyst (our AGLC Technology Trainer) drives the success of largescale IT transformational journeys, and is responsible to foster a culture of learning, grow stakeholder (technical) skillsets to align with AGLC’s strategic business plan; technology modernization and digital fluency. Your mission is to ensure that all AGLC stakeholders adopt and proficiently use new technology in their interactions and day-to-day operations.Your days will be filled with meaningful work: assess learning needs and knowledge gaps for our stakeholders, define the training strategy, develop the training plan and stakeholder learning objectives. It won’t stop there! Your creativity will flow as you conceptualize, design, develop and deliver highly interactive technical training programs and learning solutions. You’ll come alive when you deliver your customized training programs, meeting the needs of varying (technical) skillsets of our learning audience, whether it be in a classroom and e-Learning blended learning environment.You’ll report to the Manager of the Organizational Change Management Team and will support day to day operational requirements. In addition, you’ll be an active contributor to all AGLC corporate projects, strategically weaving yourself in and out at different phases of the project delivery lifecycle. You’ll partner with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Change Advisors, Technical Writers, I.T and Business Subject Matter Experts, as well as our external project vendors.This role is a telecommuting role (work from home), and you will be expected to provide seamless service in both a face to face and online environment. Most training programs will be hosted in the St. Albert Office, and this role may require you to travel up to 10% within the province of Alberta.To be successful in this role, you are end user focused and results driven. You will need strong organizational and facilitation skills and can multi-task and self-manage time without losing attention to detail.
