AGLC is looking for a System Analyst with application integration experience to join the Integration Team.In this position, you will be an integral part of AGLC’s Enterprise Integration team which is responsible for the development and operation of all the application integration initiatives in the AGLC. This includes application integration with internal AGLC systems as well as the integration between the internal systems and external vendors.A secondary responsibility of this position is to provide leadership and accountability for project work packages for information systems initiatives as assigned by the Team Lead. You must be capable of managing all areas of responsibility independently, within the parameters of the specific assignments provided by the Team Lead.To be successful in this role, you will be extremely adaptable and able to learn new technologies quickly to maintain a technical expert advantage as demand for AGLC’s application integration portfolio evolves. You must have strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills as you will be working with internal clients and vendors. Flexibility in meeting changing priorities and the ability to work well under pressure is a must, as well as the ability to handle and organize multiple tasks concurrently. Proven project management, planning an estimating skills in addition to exceptional problem solving and conflict resolution skills are also necessity.SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONSA University degree in Computer Science or relatedA minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible related experienceA minimum of one (1) year progressive experience leading technical projects within a specific discipline.Proven experience in developing and supporting real time integration solutions.Demonstrated experience designing and developing enterprise grade software systems using Enterprise Application Integration patterns, deep understanding of integration patterns, concepts, and integration platforms.Ability to work with business stakeholders to identify issues/requirements, prioritize work and understand downstream impacts.The following are considered assets:Experience with enterprise integration development using MuleSoft ESB or any other enterprise service bus.Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.Experience with message-oriented enterprise integration such as: ActiveMQ, JMS, RabbitMQ, AMQ, Weblogic and MSMQ.Experience working with Microsoft SQL server, Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and with Java (J2E and J2SE) developmentExperience with the Micoservices architectural design pattern.Experience in an environment with continuous integration (TFS Build, MSBuild or equivalents).Experience with Containers technology (Docker, Kubernetes, ...).Experience with cloud computing (Amazon Web Services, Azure etc...).Experience with Git or similar version control.Experience with Identity and Access Management technologies such as Active Directory Server or LDAP, and Single Sign On (SSO).Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in an Agile (Scrum) environment.NOTE:To be eligible to work for AGLC, you must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or eligible to work in Canada.While we appreciate all applications we receive, we advise that only candidates under consideration will be contacted.As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain a satisfactory security clearance and clean drivers abstract (if necessary) prior to employment.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
