  • Please note we are currently looking to fill one (1) full time permanent and one (1) part-time permanent Lottery Distribution Clerk position.
Working in the Ticket Distribution Centre of AGLC, this position is responsible for preparing lottery ticket and supply orders for shipment. Using extremely strong accuracy and attention to detail skills, you will be involved in the picking, scanning, verifying and labelling of retailer orders in a timely and efficiently manner. As well as separating buybacks from returned bags, maintain statistical logs on buybacks/instant ticket volumes, and pack special promotional items (i.e. Winners Edge, etc.). This role will require you to work under tight timelines, as a part of an effective and efficient team, while maintaining a high standard of quality assurance, you will also ensure all returned products are processed for retailer credit.To be successful in this role you must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment where schedules and duties are flexible. You must be able to complete tasks that are very physical in nature and include repetitive movements and duties that involved a great deal of standing and lifting heavy objects of up to 40 pounds.NOTE: Due to the nature of the role, safety shoes are a requirement.SKILLS & ABILITIESThe following are required:
  • High School Diploma and at least six (6) months of related experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40lbs.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail skills, the ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of quality under time restraints.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to work with a computer/scanner, courier label computer/printer, fax machine, photocopier, and general computer office software.
