The branch ensures that Gaming activities in the province are operated with integrity and social responsibility, aligning with Gaming Regulations and Board Policy and deliver on commitments to stakeholders in the province of Alberta.Gaming activities included Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (ETGs), Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), Lottery and Online Gambling.ABOUT THE POSITIONManager, LogisticsJob Req: 1382Location: Calder WarehouseDivision/Branch: Gaming & Cannabis / GamingClassification: Manager 1 (750)Status: ManagementEmployment Status: Permanent Full TimeSalary: $67,033.00 - $95,525.00Advertising:Internal and ExternalClosing Date: August 10, 2022JOB SUMMARYReporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain this position is responsible for the supervision, leadership, human resource planning and strategic management of 3 Supply Chain areas and 15 employees in total, including: Shipping and Receiving (including Inventory Support in Calgary), Signs and Fixtures, Logistics Coordination and one Warehouse Support staff member. Together these areas are responsible for inventory management and deployment of all Gaming supplies, equipment and assets to over 800 VLT retailers, 28 casinos, lottery equipment deployment to over 2800 retailers and casino signage. This position is also responsible for oversight of product deployment for electronic gaming devices and related equipment. Through the management of these teams and participation in Electronic Gaming Management (EGM), VLT and Ticket Operations, this position assists the slot planning team as required for the development and implementation of corporate strategies, business plan, and operational plan to achieve the AGLC Vision, Mission and business plan goals and objectives.To be successful in this role you will need to have dynamic leadership abilities with experience developing staff in a customer service organization in order to manage a team located in two locations (St. Albert and Calgary). Strong and effective communication and interpersonal skills are also required to communicate with various levels of management and implement new initiatives with business and stakeholder groups. You will also need an exceptional level of initiative and ability to be self-directed in order thrive in a high energy and fast-paced environment where you will need to coordinate priorities involving multiple tasks, personnel and resources. Creative solution and proactive thinking are also critical in this role to meet timelines for project related challenges.SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • A post-secondary degree in management or a related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in Gaming, supply chain, logistics, electronic production or a similar field at a supervisory level is required.
  • Equivalencies for education and experience will be considered, including a diploma in electronics, supply chain/logistics certification or production and technical experience.
  • Experience with JDE, Clientele and Solochain or other inventory management systems is preferred.
  • Strong computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
