Requirements:

• Must be able to travel to Waterloo Region.
• Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing or outdoor environment.
• Knowledge of grades, levels and trenching
• Previous construction experience
• Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to recognize, communicate and eliminate hazards.

Responsibilities:

• Work with hand tools, dig holes, expose utilities.
• Use a laser, read drawings interpret field survey
• Handle materials, assist in preparing crew, use equipment.
• Ability to read and understand locates
• Inspects and maintains the equipment daily
• Complies with Company Safety Program.
• Organization of project details, locates, performance objectives.
• Communication of any discrepancy.
• Ability to plan ahead.
• Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday.
• Overtime.
• Weekend availability.
• Ability to work 10-14hours a day.

Work Location: Mostly Waterloo Region some travel in Southern Ontario.Quick Apply
