Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Customer Service Supervisor to join our Grocery team on a full-time basis at our location in St. Paul, AB. Reporting to the Assistant Food Store Manager.What you’ll do:Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiencesProvide leadership and direction to the Cashier team in order to ensure a highly productive atmosphere existsAssist the Assistant Food Store Manager in directing and overseeing the Cashier team as assignedActively out on the sales floor working one-on-one with team members and leading by exampleFollow proper maintenance and housekeeping dutiesConduct Talent Management practices for the Cashier team as assignedAble to work a variety of shifts – including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis (opening and closing shifts of this position are expected)Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safetyPerform other duties as assignedWhy it matters: We need you to lead outstanding Co-op experiences.Who you are:You have a grade 12 or combination of relevant experience; previous retail and supervisory experience would be an assetYou demonstrate effective team leadership skills and have the ability to work well within a multigenerational, highly motivated team.You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you doYou believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectivesWho we are:In the communities we live, work, and play, we are true genuine leaders because we are a cornerstone of the communities we serve.
