Our vision is to be a leader in branded cannabis products that deliver on our consumer promise of quality, safety, and efficacy.Overview: The Senior Buyer is responsible to purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply. Additionally, this position is responsible for representing the function as a Business Partner to support other cross functional initiatives when needed.What can you expect to do:

• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets, inludeing but not limited to Cultivation raw material, consumables, MRO and
• Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
• Generate POs through MRP suggestions as well as internal requisition process
• Follow-up with suppliers, and internal customers, resolving outstanding issues as required
• Track and expedite materials where necessary to ensure on-time delivery. Monitors open transactions through completion, inform requestors on order status and delivery.
• Work hand in hand with Supply Chain and Demand Planning team to maintain accurate MRP Setups
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement
• Ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, procurement guidelines, IT systems).
• Support supplier management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification);
• Deliver briefs, updates and reports as and when required, provide input required for internal and external KPI evaluations
• Review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods, Explore alternate sources for goods and materials

What we are looking for :

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Business is an asset
• Minimum five (5) years purchasing work experience in a manufacturing and cultivation environment, with minimum 3 years’ experience in international procurement.
• Good operational procurement skills and procurement process and systems expertise
• Experience in Procurement to Pay (P2P) processes
• Requires a working knowledge of ERP functionality.
• High level of planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail.
• Understanding of commercial and contract terms and conditions
