Job Description

The position entails training to become an Animal Care Worker (ACW). This primarily involves understanding and implementing animal care such as the feeding, monitoring, bathing, exercising, socializing, and training of dogs in our care where and when designated by a senior staff person(s). Additionally, the ACW-T is responsible for the maintenance and continuous cleaning of the play areas both inside and outside, as well as other areas of the facility as assigned. The position also incorporates such administrative duties as record keeping, admittance procedures, and customer service.This is a part-time position initially, though hours will increase over time. There are no educational requirements currently as there is extensive training in-house, but attitude and values towards animals is important. Vet techs are most welcome to apply. Any age and ableness welcome, provided able to handle all size of dogs.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 8-30 per weekSalary: $15.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
