Kitchen Hand duties and responsibilitiesThe primary duty of a Kitchen Hand is to ensure the kitchen and service areas are clean and working efficiently to deliver excellent service to diners. A staff member is expected to represent the company professionally and with integrity. Some of the primary duties and responsibilities include:· Washing, disinfecting and restocking dishware based on company procedures· Maintaining order and cleanliness of the kitchen, food preparation areas and service areas based on industry and company standards· Cleaning general utensils and kitchen equipment· Cooking, toasting and presenting food to company standards· Assembling and preparing food ingredients for cooking· Restocking kitchen supplies and maintaining equipment as needed· Packing food for takeout· Weighing, transferring, checking and storing food ingredientsKitchen Hand skills and qualificationsA successful Kitchen Hand candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications to perform duties effectively. These include:· Solid understanding of food handling, sanitation and prevention of food-borne illnesses· Ability to work well with their hands· Excellent hand-eye coordination· Physical strength and the ability to lift heavy loads· Excellent verbal and written communication skills· Able to work under pressure and in compliance with the safety and sanitization standards of the company· Able to work quickly and safely with minimal supervisionKitchen Hand experience requirementsExperience is preferred but not a need.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $13.60-$16.00 per hourBenefits:
