We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Business Partnership Manager, CFO & Corporate Functions to join our Technology department. Working as part of the Business Partnership team, you will take the lead in managing the relationship between the Technology team and the CFO and Corporate function teams (Real Estate and Strategic Sourcing) at Sobeys.Please note: This role can be based out of our offices in Mississauga, ON or Stellarton, NSJob DescriptionAs Business Partnership Manager, CFO & Corporate Functions with Sobeys, you will:

  • Foster and maintain relationships with the business and organizational stakeholders
  • Serve as a liaison between Technology and the business, with a focus on client satisfaction
  • Manage relationships with customers and vendors to build the brand and the business
  • Champion and manage new projects to create stronger partnerships
  • Build the organizational network through targeted outreach and strong project planning
  • Liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy
  • Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
Job RequirementsYour experience and resume will show us:
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or Computer Science
  • Minimum 8 years progressive work experience in IT or Finance
  • Previous experience in Finance considered an asset
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate team members and know how to efficiently make important decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate and relay business requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well with internal teams
  • Understand and predict the needs of the business
  • Prioritize projects according to business’ needs
  • Help with planning and execution of most valuable projects
  • Excellent decision-making skills and adaptability to new technology
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset (English and French)
