Riverview Home Corporation is a non-profit corporation providing care and support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, as well as long term mental illness. Riverview Home Corporation is currently accepting resumes for a Casual Cook.Cooks are responsible for preparing the main meal, preparing meals for residents on a special diet, homemade soup, sauces and gravy as required. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to serving the meal to residents & staff, completing prep work & a daily cleaning schedule.Casual cooks will be given the opportunity to work additional shifts as a General Worker in the Dietary Department which involves providing support to the residents at mealtime, portioning desserts, washing pots & pans, operating the dishwasher, sweeping & scrubbing & maintaining general cleanliness of the Dietary Department.Qualifications
