HEXO Corp is a serious, business-oriented and socially responsible organization that is building dynamic teams of professionals that arent afraid to step outside of their role, try new things and challenge the status quo.If you are excited to take on a new challenge and are open to getting out of your comfort zone, we’re looking for people like you to join the HEXO Corp family.We are currently seeking individuals for contract positions.Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PMPositions starting over $16/hr!Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for carrying out manufacturing related tasks to ensure our products are packaged and ready for shipping in a timely fashion.Job Responsibilities

  • All processes of manufacturing, primary and secondary packaging, including setups, dispensing, sealing, labelling and boxing while maintaining a high standard for our customers.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing activities
  • Responsible for sanitation of equipment in manufacturing and storage areas
  • Ensure all cannabis products are free from contamination risk at all stages of packaging
  • maintain a clean and tidy workspace and display a high standard of cleanliness
  • Collaborate with Production Supervisor in daily tasks and job training
  • Other duties as required

  • Communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Perform any related duties as assigned
  • Actively contribute in team meetings and other team-related activities
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean criminal record check
  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing or other related fields
  • Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production environment with exposure to noise, odors and repetitive work
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Always maintain a professional and friendly attitude
  • Ability to stand/sit for long periods of time
  • A willingness to learn and be able to follow directions
  • Work well individually and in a team environment
  • Must have accountability, proactive behaviour and a strong attention to detail
Other key details
  • Hourly position, very competitive pay rate
  • Contract positions until the site closing date
  • Work hours: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, some occasional weekend work or on-call work may be required depending on business needs and per the direction of the immediate supervisor or managers
  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labour tasks required
