Job Description

working in a groceryOverviewThe Operator Hi-Lift will work to safely, accurately, and continuously put product into inventory and move product to the correct location within the RSC (Retail Support Centre). Actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment.Job Description

  • Operate warehouse equipment in an efficient and safe manner as per safety regulations
  • Complete equipment pre-checks daily
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Maintain sanitation standards
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Replenish picking locations which are low on product
  • Put palletized products in the proper reserves and pick slot locations
  • Maintain proper rotation of product in the Distribution Centre
  • Maintain/ exceed a minimum identified level of productivity per company standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements
  • All other duties as assigned by shift supervisor
Job Requirements
  • A minimum of six months experience in a retail support centre
  • Relevant MHE Certification
  • Previous shipping experience
  • Physical work including frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
  • Occasionally lift over 88 lbs
  • Two person lift required for weights exceeding 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Possible exposure to extreme temperatures
  • Alertness to other people and vehicles
  • Various shifts including evenings and weekends
