Global Pet Foods New Glasgow (Stellarton) is locally family-owned and operated, and has proudly been serving Picou County since 2012! We believe pets are undeniably part of the family and our passion is helping fellow pet parents find solutions to help provide their companion pets with the best life possible.We are expanding our team and seeking a dynamic individual who has at least one year of experience working in retail. __**Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities:
  • Share your expertise in pet care and nutrition to help fellow pet parents make informed decisions to support the overall health and well-being of their companion pets

__**Retail Sales Associate Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1 Year of Experience Required
  • The ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • A genuine interest in animal care and well-being (caring for your own pet or volunteering with pets is a strong asset)
  • The ability to lift and stack up to 30lbs/Comfortable using ladders/can stand for long periods of time
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends and various hours/days of the week
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficiency using computers, POS systems, email, and spreadsheets
