We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Speciaiist, Capabilities ELS to join our team based in Stellarton, Nova Scotia.Job DescriptionIn the role of Specialist Capabilities ELS you will:Provide Project Management leadership, stewardship and administration for ELS initiativesAnalyze / Observe operational KPI and processes to identify retraining opportunities.Establish relationship with front line RSC management to create a continuous improvement culture.Establish credibility in union and non-union environment and Union Engineers.Participate in RSC/Union Management meetingsAnalyze and simulate data including process mapping, developing tools, and benchmark/ best practices researchMonitor project progress and anticipate necessity for developing contingency plans or taking corrective actionsRegularly report on and present to management regarding team performance, project schedules, budget, performance measures, support efforts, corrective actions, customer feedback, and issue identificationUnderstand and conceptualize cross-functional business processes, and effectively apply process analysis techniques and toolsUse both formal and informal channels to obtain information, build support and accomplish tasksManage logistics systems (EXE/SLIDE)Provide Change Management support on change requests or upgrades.Validate regional or national change requests on ELS related changesAssist in the construction and maintenance of Engineered Labour StandardsComplete Industrial Engineering studies and provide recommendations according to Sobeys National Industrial Engineering processesCarry out Engineering computations and analysisDevelop new ELS using Sobeys National Industrial Engineering processesMaintain and configure EXE ELS control tablesProvide Change Management support on ELS updates.Work with RSC staff to gather project requirements and help in the creation of project objectives and schedulesSupport External Engineering audits & validation regarding ELS configurationProvide Training support for RSC staff regarding preferred method and ELS comprehension.#Li-PostJob RequirementsYour resume and experience will show:2 to 3 years experience in Logistics / Engineering positions within a distribution or transportation environmentNew Grads Welcome to apply and will be considered on a case by case basisEngineering degree requiredExperience with EXE / Witron Warehouse Management System (WMS)Engineering: Experience working on a varied schedule in multi-temperature environment, multi-shifts with over 70% travelAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)Sobeys is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process and will work with applicants requesting accommodation at any stage of this process.While all responses are appreciated only those being considered for interviews will be acknowledged.We appreciate the interest from the Staffing industry however respectfully request no calls or unsolicited resumes from Agencies.Quick Apply
