Job Description

The Qalipu Cultural Foundation is seeking to hire a project coordinator who will be in charge of assisting in organizing our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.Project Coordinator Responsibilities:- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.- Organizing, attending, and participating in meetings.- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.- Providing administrative support as needed.- Undertaking project tasks as required.Project Coordinator Requirements:- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.- Knowledge of file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.- Ability to work on tight deadlines.This conditional acceptance is pending the recruitment and selection of a student that meets the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be between the ages of 15 and 29 (inclusive);
  • Must be planning to attend full-time studies in the upcoming academic year;
  • Must have been registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year; and,
  • Be a member of the Qalipu First Nation or Self-identified Indigenous Person
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 7 weeksSalary: $13.20 per hourSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
