Northeast of Stewart, British ColumbiaJob Opportunity: Full-timeClosing Date: Open until filledDescription:Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent or designate, the Electrician is responsible for working as part of the team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical related equipment in the Mill. • Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.
• Read and interpret drawing, blueprints, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment.
• Diagnose, locate the cause of, and repair malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance through inspection of electrical systems and components using test equipment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Work on other electrical projects as required.
• Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications.
• Working from ladders, scaffolding and lifts at heights up to 100 ft.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Journeyman Red Seal Electrician
• 5+ years #39; recent, related experience in a Milling environment in mining.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver #39;s license or equivalent.
