Transportation is provided to site from a pickup points in Terrace, Kitwanga, Mezadine Junction, and Stewart BC.The Labourer - Snow Removal, reporting to the Lodge Manager, is responsible for assisting with snow removal for various areas, including removing snow from the roof of the camp. Successful candidates will be required to supply own winter wear for working outside in varying conditions for long periods of time.This position is safety sensitive and requires drug, alcohol, and fit to work testing as a condition of employment.Your work will include:Maintain HNCC camp equipment to the highest possible condition.Assist in all tasks related to snow removal, steps, walkways, roof.General site clean up to ensure a high-level cleanliness of all areas outside the camp.Completes activities related to manual labor, including bending, stooping, reaching, carrying, and lifting heavy objects weighing up to 45lbs.Ensure all camp equipment is in good repair.Load and unload materials/supplies as required.Complete various maintenance and/or service tasks as required.Cleans and stores tools and equipment.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOUEnjoy excellent work-life balance with a 20 days on/10 days off rotation.Extended health and dental benefits that are fully covered.Whereas other companies are downsizing, we are growing!Be #1 on day 1 by joining an industry leader.Follow Horizon North on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.QualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FORFall arrest is an asset (training is also provided)Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.Able to perform duties in warm, cold, wet, humid or dry climates on a variety of surfaces including, concrete and gravel.Additional InformationDexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
