Position Title: Power Engineer Third ClassPosition Type: Regular - Full-TimePosition Location: CarberryGrade: Scale ENGINEERRequisition ID: 26174Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate refrigeration plant and ancillary equipment in a manner that contributes to the achievement of operational objectives.
• Responsible for the completion of all documentation and procedures for the area, including any and all established testing or monitoring requirements.
• Some maintenance work may be assigned.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of plant operating methods to help the site meet or exceed its Key Performance Indicators.
• Participate and be engaged in training self and others in Plant Safety Maintenance related to ammonia operation.
• All additional duties as they become assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid 3rd Class Engineer #39;s Certificate
• Must be willing to work rotating shift work in a plant environment.
• Willing to continue personal development toward 2nd Class Engineer #39;s Certificate.
• Must have a demonstrated record of safe work habits.
• Preference will be given to candidates with ammonia refrigeration system experience.
• Experience using computerized operational controls.
• Ability to work well with and provide support to plant supervision and production employees
