Job Description

VG Meats is looking for a Retail Sales Team Member in Stoney Creek, ON!The Retail Sales Team Member is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties; greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions and providing product information. Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills
  • Stock and display merchandise
  • Track and maintain store and freezer inventory
  • Regularly sanitize the work areas
  • Process payments
  • Develop product knowledge and stay current with promotional events and sales
  • Assist with picking and shipping wholesale customer orders
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service skills (enthusiastic, friendly, energeticamp;mature)
  • Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and/or possesses prior knowledge of meat cuts
  • Reliable transportation and attendance dependability
  • Physical demands: constant moving, talking and standing for at least two consecutive hours.
  • It May involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
