Job DescriptionJoin Our Team for the Fall Hinton Pulp Turnaround in Hinton, AB!FLINT is eagerly seeking journeyperson and apprentice pipefitters (with a preference for second year and above) to join our team for the upcoming Turnarounds in the Hinton Area starting September 9th, 2024. What would you be doing
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the type of pipe and instruments to use and lay out the sequence of tasks.
  • Draft detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
  • Maintain and repair piping systems.
Does this sound like you
  • Journeyperson or apprentice pipefitter ticket
  • Valid CSTS-20, CSO, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid.
  • Enjoy a varied workload.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
